AMD EPYC™ 9124 is a high-performance server processor from the AMD EPYC 9004 Series (Genoa)family, designed for modern Data centers, virtualization, cloud platforms, enterprise workloads, and high-density computing. It combines reliability, excellent multitasking, and modern interfaces for extensions.
This model is equipped with 16 physical cores and 32 threads, ensuring efficient parallel data processing and high throughput when running virtual machines (VMs), databases, analytics workloads, and server applications.
The base clock speed is 3.00 GHz, and Turbo Boost technology allows for increased frequency up to 3.70 GHz when tasks require rapid execution.
The processor features a large 64 MB L3 cachevolume, which speeds up access to frequently accessed data and improves overall performance in intensive workloads.
This model runs on the Socket SP5 (LGA6096) platform—AMD’s modern server architecture, supporting 12-channel DDR5-4800 ECC memory and up to 128 PCI Express 5.0 lanes, providing extensive expansion options and high throughput for NVMe storage, network adapters, and other devices.
