Intel Xeon Gold 6154 — a high-performance server processor from the Xeon Scalable family (Skylake-SP architecture), Designed for heavy corporate, cloud, and computing tasks: virtualization, computing clusters, databases, analytics, and HPC workloads.
The model offers 18 physical cores and 36 threads, providing significant headroom for the parallel operation of multiple virtual machines, containers, multi-threaded services, and computations.
The 6154’s base clock rate is 3.00 GHz, and under load, it can reach up to 3.70 GHz in Turbo mode. This makes the CPU an excellent choice for both frequency-intensive and general multi-threaded workloads.
The L3 cache of 24.75 MB ensures fast access to frequently accessed data, which is critical for databases, computing, and I/O-intensive tasks.
The processor supports up to 768 GB DDR4-2666 ECC per socket, has a 6-channel memory controller — sufficient for most enterprise workloads, virtualization, containers, and memory-intensive applications.
