Intel® Xeon® Gold 6254 is a powerful 2nd generation Xeon Scalable (Cascade Lake) server processor designed for highly loaded enterprise infrastructures, mission-critical applications, and computing systems that require maximum reliability and performance.
The combination of 18 cores and 36 threads, a high base frequency of 3.1 GHz, and Turbo Boost up to 4.0 GHz make the Xeon Gold 6254 one of the fastest processors in its lineup in terms of single-core performance. It is ideal for applications that require high frequency, such as databases, ERP/CRM systems, financial services, analytics, high-load APIs, and virtualization.
The processor supports 4-socket systems (4S)allows the creation of large, scalable, enterprise-class server platforms. With support for DDR4-2933, 1 TB of memory, Optane Persistent Memoryand 48 PCIe 3.0 lanes, the Gold 6254 is an ideal choice for data centers and high-performance workstations.
